This Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator guide will tell you how to change oil from the start of the process to the end, and include which menus you need to be in for each step.
How to Change Oil in Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021
It’s likely that you’ll already have the motorcycle selected in the tutorial, but this process is basically the same whether you do or not.
With the motorcycle selected, press RMB to bring up the radial menu. Then choose Motorcycle Maintenance in the upper left part of the menu. Note that you can’t move to other parts of the motorcycle without pressing ESC. This may take you out of the maintenance menu.
Next, find the oil cap on the engine and select it. The cap is likely in a different place depending on what type of motorcycle you’re working on, but just inspect the engine on both sides for it and you should find it easily.
If you’ve moved to find the cap, it’s likely you’ve exited maintenance mode and won’t be able to add any liquid. You know if you’re in maintenance mode or not because parts of the motorcycle will be bright white.
Now remove the oil cap.
After removing the plug, highlight the pouring hole. You should have the “change oil” prompt appear. Hold LMB to start the filling process.
A container will appear. Continue to hold LMB to raise the container to a roughly 90-degree angle to begin pouring oil. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see a large oil droplet icon, and it will begin to fill with amber as you fill the engine.
Stop pouring once the amber reaches the top of the drop icon. It’s advisable to just hold the button down until the game automatically stops the process since even a small amount of missing oil can be a problem. The game will not allow an overflow to occur.
Now, press Esc to exit the procedure.
If the oil cap doesn’t automatically go back on, press RMB and choose “Assembly” in the bottom left of the radial menu. You should see a white transparent outline of the oil cap on the engine. Highlight it, and hold LMB. Select the cap from the menu that appears on the right.
You must put the cap back on, otherwise, you won’t be able to test-drive your motorcycle.
How to Remove Oil
Removing oil from your motorcycle follows the same basic steps. If you have any in your engine already, select the engine and enter the Motorcycle Maintenance menu. Then remove the cap. A suction tool will appear, and you can hold LMB to remove some or all of the liquid.
To refill the engine, you will have to exit the removal procedure and start over.
And that’s basically all you need to know about how to change oil in Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021! Again, this procedure isn’t exactly necessary, but it adds to the overall realism of the game, which is what simulators are all about.
